The DC Police Union is asking members to fill out the following survey and tell Union leadership which issues you would like to prioritize during the contract negotiation process: http://action.dcpoliceunion.com/page/s/contract-survey • A man was severely beaten and stabbed outside of the Potomac Avenue Metro Station Tuesday afternoon. One juvenile was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, while authorities are still searching for two more juveniles who fled the scene. • A woman was set on fire inside of a hotel in the NoMa neighborhood. According to DC Police, the victim knew the male suspect. and authorities are actively investigating the incident.

WJLA: Young man stabbed, beaten, left for dead by ‘pack of teens’ at Potomac Ave. Metro stop “A man is recovering from a severe beating and stabbing just outside the Potomac Avenue Metro Station in Southeast DC. It happened Tuesday just before 4 p.m. Investigators say a group of teens attacked the man, knocking him to the ground and kicking him repeatedly.”

Washington Post: Woman set on fire at hotel in Northeast Washington “A woman was set on fire by a man she knew at a hotel in Northeast Washington, police said. The incident happened Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. at a Motel 6 on Fourth Street near New York Avenue NE. When authorities arrived, they found a woman who had been set on fire.”

Washington Post: Two teens charged in Northwest D.C. burglaries “A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with burglaries that occurred on back-to-back days in February at two homes in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Northwest Washington, according to D.C. police.”

WJLA: D.C. police arrest 2nd naked man on 14th Street in less than 2 months “D.C. police arrested a naked man at 14th Street and U by the Trader Joes early Wednesday morning, officials report. It’s unclear at this time if the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
