NBC Washington: Missing DC Man Last Contacted Woman He Met Online, Family Says “The family of a 22-year-old man who has been missing for nearly a month is desperate for any information that will help them find him. Marty William McMillan Jr. was last seen on April 22 on the 2900 block of M Street SE. He told his family he was going out with a woman he met on the dating website Plenty of Fish.”

Washington Post: Woman reports attempted sexual assault in Adams Morgan “A woman reported being the victim of a sexual assault attempt Tuesday morning in Adams Morgan. The victim told police that a man approached her, pushed her to the ground and grabbed her as she was walking along T Street NW, near the intersection of 18th Street, around 2 a.m.”

WJLA: DC police ask for public’s help locating person believed to be connected to package theft “D.C. police are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a person believed to be connected with a package stolen off a porch in the 1200 block of Maryland Avenue, NE.”

Washington Post: Person in custody after jumping White House fence “A person jumped a fence at the White House on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. At about 4:35 p.m., the U.S. Secret Service said in a Twitter message that a person jumped a bike rack along the north fence line of Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House, and that the person is in custody.”

WJLA: Senate passes bill for new Metro safety panel, already approved by Va., Md., D.C. “The Senate has approved a bill creating a new, independent safety oversight panel for Washington’s troubled subway system. A resolution creating the Washington Metrorail Safety Commission was approved Tuesday and now heads to the House.”

NBC Washington: DC Council Votes to Move Primary Date - Again “The D.C. Council voted 12-0 Tuesday to approve a bill that would move the primary to the third Tuesday in June. One council member abstained from the vote. The bill will go to Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser for her signature after a second vote that’s mostly a formality.”
