WJLA: D.C. Police: Man dies after being shot, found bleeding in stairwell of Southeast apartment “A man has died after a shooting in Southeast Washington early Saturday morning, police confirmed. According to a D.C. police report, around 3:20 a.m. police arrived on the scene to find Delontra Omar Alexander of SW DC inside an apartment building “laying on his back on the second floor stairwell bleeding from the head unconscious and gasping for air.”“
WJLA: D.C. Police: Search underway for woman who stabbed 2 women in Northwest “D.C. police are searching for a woman who they say stabbed two other women in Northwest Washington Friday morning. The two injured women were reported as “conscious and breathing” following the stabbing, authorities say.”
NBC Washington: Woman Sexually Assaulted Inside Home in DC’s Kalorama Neighborhood “A woman was raped inside a home in D.C.‘s Kalorama neighborhood late Friday night, police say. Officers responded to the 2300 block of California Street NW about 10:30 p.m., where a woman said a man sexually assaulted her.”
Washington Post: Man who attacked 5 women at knifepoint near Metro stations sentenced to life “A Maryland man who authorities say stalked woman near Metro stations in the District before assaulting, robbing and in some cases raping them was sentenced to life in prison plus 82 years.”
