Washington Post: Man, 31, fatally shot in Northwest Washington “A 31-year-old man died after being shot late Monday in Northwest Washington, police said. D.C. police identified the victim as James Mace III of Northwest Washington.”

WJLA: D.C. police: 44-year-old man arrested, charged with sexual assault “A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a person on Wednesday, February 15, according to D.C. police.”

Washington Post: FBI arrests suspect in kidnapping of Georgetown University student “A 34-year-old man from London has been arrested on a charge that while visiting the District in January, he kidnapped a Georgetown University student and forced him to drive to banks and a jewelry store in an attempt to obtain money, according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court.”

Washington Post: Youth charged with trying to bring gun into Woodrow Wilson High School “A 17-year-old has been charged with a firearms offense after D.C. police said he tried to take a gun into Woodrow Wilson High School in Northwest Washington on Monday.”

WJLA: D.C. police search for suspect who ‘possibly’ shot woman in face “D.C. police are searching for a suspect who shot a woman in Southeast Washington late Monday evening. A captain on the scene tells us it’s likely she was shot in the face.”

NBC Washington: Construction Worker Killed in DC Trench Collapse “A construction worker has died after he was trapped in a trench on a job site in D.C. Tuesday morning, officials say. Crews worked for hours to free the man after the trench collapsed Tuesday morning. D.C. Fire and EMS announced Tuesday afternoon that the worker had died.”

Washington Post: Three children injured when school bus collides with vehicle in Northwest D.C. “A vehicle and a school bus collided Tuesday morning in Northwest Washington. The incident happened just before 9 a.m. near Pierce and First streets NW, near New York Avenue.”
