Washington Post: D.C. woman killed Monday night in Suitland Parkway collision “A District woman was killed in a crash Monday evening on Suitland Parkway in Prince George’s County. Briaunna A. Smith, 23, was the passenger in a vehicle involved in a collision with another car at the intersection of Branch Avenue in the Hillcrest Heights neighborhood about 10:30 p.m., according to U.S. Park Police.”

Washington Post: D.C. man convicted of raping a nun is sentenced to 35 years in prison “A District man who pleaded guilty to raping a nun was sentenced to 35 years in prison on Tuesday. Juan Randolph, 29, was convicted of first-degree rape and burglary last week in connection with the April 2015 attack on a woman in her Hyattsville home, according to a statement from the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office.”
