Washington Post: D.C. man fatally stabbed in Southeast Washington “A D.C. man was fatally stabbed Monday evening in Southeast Washington, police said. At about 9:05 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of R Street SE for a reported aggravated assault, D.C. police said in a statement.”

Washington Post: Man charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in ax attack near Metro “A victim attacked by an ax-wielding stranger said no words were exchanged before the assault outside the Benning Road Metro station in Northeast Friday night, according to court documents.”

Washington Post: Two D.C. men arrested in unconnected fatal shootings “Arrests were made Tuesday in two unrelated D.C. homicides, police said. About 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2016, officers responded to the 4500 block of Quarles Street NE after hearing the sound of gunshots, D.C. police said in a statement.”

WJLA: Man dies after being shot in the back in Southeast D.C., police say “A 24-year-old man died after he was shot in the back on April 9 in Southeast Washington. Zaan Scott was found by officers in the 1300 block of Southern Avenue, and police say he later died from his injuries on May 17.”

WUSA9: MISSING: 16-year-old from NE DC “Police need help locating a missing 16-year-old from Northeast, D.C. Hannah Olivia Brown was last seen in the 1300 Block of 44th Street NE on Monday.”
