Fox5DC: Man shot, killed Monday night in Southeast DC “A man was shot and killed Monday night in Southeast D.C. The shooting happened in the 500 block of Parkland Place around 8:30 p.m.”

Washington Post: Toddler dies after being found in backyard pool at day D.C. day-care center “A 23-month-old boy died Tuesday after he was found in a small children’s pool in the back yard of a privately run day-care center in Northeast Washington, according to District police and fire officials.”

Washington Post: ‘Pizzagate’ shooter apologizes in handwritten letter for his ‘mistakes’ ahead of sentencing “The armed North Carolina man who commandeered a pizza restaurant in Northwest Washington apologized to his victims and residents in the nation’s capital Tuesday in a letter to a federal judge seeking leniency at his June 22 sentencing.”

WUSA9: MISSING: 63-year-old man, NE, DC “The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 63-year-old Ronald Cuttino, who was last seen in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northeast on Monday June 12, 2017.”

WJLA: VIDEO: Pickpockets rob victim in K Street office building elevator “D.C. police say two people came into an elevator in a downtown office building and robbed a victim. One of the suspects reached into the victim’s pocket and took property. The two suspects quickly fled the scene.”
