Fox5DC: Man found shot dead in Southeast DC “A man was shot and killed late Wednesday night in Southeast D.C. The shooting was reported around 11:20 p.m. on the 2000 block of Fairlawn Avenue. Detectives found the man suffering from gunshot wounds outside when they arrived.”

Washington Post: Late night robbery reported on Douglass Bridge near Nationals Park “The robbery apparently occurred a few minutes before 11:30 p.m., according to a sketchy preliminary police report. The location of the robbery was given as the bridge, which is also known as the S0uth Capitol Street bridge.”

Well, its replacement has arrived to take over the duties its predecessor has left behind.”

Fox5DC: House Majority Whip Steve Scalise discharged from hospital; begins rehabilitation “Six weeks after being shot by a gunman, who opened fire on a congressional baseball practice at a park in Virginia, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise has been discharged from the hospital and has entered a rehabilitation facility.”
