A man was shot and killed late Wednesday night in Southeast D.C. The shooting was reported around 11:20 p.m. on the 2000 block of Fairlawn Avenue. D.C. police are actively investigating the incident. • A robbery was reported on Douglass Bridge near Nationals Park around 11:30 PM. Police currently have no suspects.

Fox5DC: Man found shot dead in Southeast DC “A man was shot and killed late Wednesday night in Southeast D.C. The shooting was reported around 11:20 p.m. on the 2000 block of Fairlawn Avenue. Detectives found the man suffering from gunshot wounds outside when they arrived.”
Washington Post: Late night robbery reported on Douglass Bridge near Nationals Park “The robbery apparently occurred a few minutes before 11:30 p.m., according to a sketchy preliminary police report. The location of the robbery was given as the bridge, which is also known as the S0uth Capitol Street bridge.”
