Wilson Agbebaku, 34, was fatally shot Sunday evening in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood. No suspect information is available at this time, and authorities are actively investigating the incident. • A photo was released of a man wanted in connection with kidnapping a Georgetown University student and subsequently taking the student to several ATM machines to withdraw money. DC Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.

Washington Post: Maryland man fatally shot in Northeast Washington “A 34-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday evening in Northeast Washington. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 200 block of 51st Street NE.”

WJLA: VIDEO: Restaurant owner shot multiple times, robbed in Northwest D.C. “The owner of a restaurant was shot multiple times and robbed as she was leaving her business on Jan. 25 in Northwest Washington. In a surveillance video released by police, the robber approached the woman outside the Jam Doung Style Restaurant.”

WJLA: Police: Photo released of man, SUV linked to kidnapping of Georgetown University student “A photo of a man and SUV linked to the kidnapping of a Georgetown University student in Northwest Washington, was released by police on Monday. Authorities say the man grabbed and forced the student into the truck on Jan. 26 in the 3400 block of O Street, NW. The student was subsequently taken to several ATMs by the man to withdraw money and then to retail stores to make large purchases in D.C. and Maryland, according to police.”

Washington Post: Man who hit female worker with a gun during Gallaudet University burglary pleads guilty “A former employee of Gallaudet University’s food service department pleaded guilty Monday to holding two deaf female workers at gunpoint during a burglary there last year, prosecutors said. On Oct. 22, Donald Williams, 26, wearing a mask and wielding a gun, forced his way into the department’s kitchen in the 800 block of Florida Avenue NE, from which he had been fired a few weeks before, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District said in a statement.”

Fox5DC: VIDEO: Suspect wanted in NW DC kidnapping “An individual was forced into an SUV in Northwest, D.C. on Thursday afternoon, and was driven to several ATMs and stores by a suspect in an attempt to get cash from his credit card and make large purchases at retail stores, according to D.C. police.”

Washington Post: Pedestrian fatally struck by car in Dupont Circle “A pedestrian was killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Northwest Washington. The person’s identity was not immediately released, pending notification of family. Police in the District said the incident happened just after 11 p.m. on the north side of Connecticut Avenue and N Street NW.”
