According to authorities, the suspect also has a history of drug abuse and mental illness.

Washington Post: D.C. police search for second suspect in April killing “D.C. police identified a 23-year-old man Wednesday as a second suspect in the killing of a Brandywine man during a shooting in Northeast Washington in April. Police said they obtained a warrant for Nathaniel Taylor on a charge of first-degree felony murder in connection with the killing of 23-year-old Nuru Frenche. Frenche was found fatally shot in the 4900 block of Just Street NE about 10:30 p.m. on April 23.”

Montee Tyree Johnson, 21, was arrested Wednesday in the death of Deeniquia Dodds. Johnson, of Southeast D.C., has been charged with first-degree murder while armed, D.C. police said.”

WUSA9: Fmr. Chief Lanier says DC mansion murderer could have acted alone “The gruesome murders of three family members and their housekeeper in a Northwest, D.C. mansion in 2015 could have been the work of just one man, former MPD Chief Cathy Lanier said on Wednesday, in a departure from what had been the DC police department’s theory of the case.”

WJLA: DC man pleads guilty to threat of numerous bombs at Union Station “A District of Columbia man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge stemming from a 911 call he made last summer that falsely claimed numerous bombs were set to go off at Union Station.”
