The DC Police Union represents the 3,000 officers, detectives, and sergeants who make up the District of Columbia’s Metropolitan Police Department. Our officers are committed to protecting the residents of Washington — and we are committed to helping protect our officers.
By working together with residents, we have made great strides in reducing crime in our neighborhoods. And while DC is much safer than many of us remember decades ago, we still have a long way to go to make our city a safe place for all residents. As a union, representing our officers and fighting to improve their working conditions — we’re fighting for DC to become a safer city.
